Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy Seemingly Confirms Camryn D’Aloia Romance 1 Year After Viral Video

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy is apparently enjoying a new romance in his life.

Portnoy, 48, dropped the name “Cam” when referencing“someone I’m dating” during a recent appearance on the “Drop a Pin” podcast. Eagled-eyed fans have since speculated that he was talking about social media influencer Camryn D’Aloia.

Her name was dropped during the Sunday, April 20, podcast episode when Portnoy was recalling an instance from July 2024 in which he was rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard in Nantucket.

“It was f***ing scary,” Portnoy recalled, noting that the Coast Guard said there was “nothing [he] could have done to stop the boat from drifting.”

Portnoy said that he and D’Aloia, 26, were on the boat — a detail omitted from his original social media posts detailing the incident.

“I was like, ‘You have to get off and tell somebody, I have no communication,’” he recalled. “She, before we got too far, dove off and went home and called the harbor master.”

Portnoy was first spotted with D’Aloia a year ago, just two months prior to the boat debacle.

In April 2024, a video of Portnoy and D’Aloia, 26, went viral after they attended a Boston Celtics and Miami Heat game — and had a rather awkward encounter with TV broadcast cameras on them.

“If you know how I enjoy Celtics games, generally [sitting] center court, on the wood, loud, proud,” Portnoy said on the “BFFs” podcast after the moment went viral. “I’m friends with this girl, we’ve hung out. It’s not boyfriend-girlfriend, obviously.”

Portnoy admitted that he “turned down” courtside seats for that game to avoid any headlines or online speculation regarding his love life. Obviously, things didn’t go as planned.

“We sat down and it’s like: ‘We are f***ed.’ That’s the initial [reaction]. You can see us on the screen,” he said. “I think I told her, ‘Just don’t panic, just don’t panic,’ because this girl does not want to be — you guys can appreciate that there is a level of notoriety that stinks when you’re well known.”

Portnoy’s apparent romance with D’Aloia comes after he ended his three-year relationship with Silvana Mojica, whom he dated from 2020 to 2023.

“I guess you get to a point where you think maybe there’s a difference in what somebody wants and what the other person wants and without going into too much detail,” Portnoy said of their split during a November 2023 episode of the “BFFs” podcast. “I just didn’t think I could give Silvana kind of what she deserves.”
