‘Baywatch’ siren flaunts her real-life edgy tattoos in photo from new movie set
“Baywatch” alum Erika Eleniak looks totally different in her edgy new film role decades after playing a bombshell lifeguard on the hit show.
Eleniak, 56 — who played Shauni McClain in the first three seasons of the ’90s surf series — flaunted her sleeves of impressive ink via Instagram in a photo from her upcoming film Alchemy In Venice.
In the pic, the actress sports an embroidered black jacket paired with a lace shirt and a chunky belt. She accessorized with bold statement jewelry and showed off her tattoos, which reach up to her hands.
“From our illustrious leader, Jon Fitzgerald: That’s a wrap! With filming having ended this past Saturday, we now turn the page to post-production,” she captioned the photo posted via Instagram. “Can’t wait to see this project come together and share with all of you soon. Thank you for being part of the journey. Stay tuned!”
Many fans in the comments section praised her dramatic look, a stark contrast from her “Baywatch” days.
“Can’t wait to see more, you look great,” one fan gushed, as another wrote, “Late to the party. I had no idea u had tattoos.”
Others were a little taken back by her look with one writing, “Did I miss something?”
Page Six was the first to reveal the blonde beauty’s dramatic transformation back in 2023 with exclusive photos of the actress walking her dog in the suburbs of California.
Eleniak explained why she got so many tattoos during her appearance on the “Still Here Hollywood” podcast over the summer.
“Every tattoo that I have is significant of something,” she said in a June episode, noting that she started getting tattoos on her back sometime in her “late 20s” after her stint on “Baywatch” ended.
“I love tattoos. I love that my body is a canvas to tell my stories. Just fun,” she added.
Eleniak rose to fame at just 12 years old for her role in Steven Spielberg’s iconic 1982 film, “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.”
She became a global sex symbol by the ’90s for her role on “Baywatch” and even posed for Playboy Magazine.
Eleniak revealed that she ultimately left the show because she was “wanted more serious work” and wasn’t “comfortable in slinky little bikinis.”
“Running around the beach in a thong was not my idea of a good time,” she quipped.
Throughout the ’90s she transitioned to thriller and action movies which she said she “really enjoyed” and is still “really proud of the work.”
Eleniak married bodybuilder Philip Golgia in 1998, but they divorced after just six months.
In the early 2000s she began dating film worker Roch Daigle, and they moved to Canada, before tying the knot in 2005. They welcomed their daughter a year later.
She still acts, but the former model leads a quiet life in the California suburbs with her now 19-year-old daughter, Indyanna Daigle.
