Bebe Rexha is manifesting a new and improved version of herself for 2026.
The pop star shared a cheeky list of “ins and outs” to Instagram on Thursday, Jan. 22, promising to shed the “old” version of herself and upgrade to one that’s “hotter, richer” and more “confident.”
Rexha, 36, wrote the list on a whiteboard with blue marker, and in her Instagram photo, stood in front of the board while holding the marker up to the camera in sunglasses and a gray sweatshirt.
On the left, the Grammy-nominated star described the “old” Bebe: “Victim, people pleaser, yelling, assault hit in face at concert, fatter.”
The column was entirely crossed out with an X, and the right side focused on the “new” things she’s manifesting: “Unapologetic, hotter, richer, confident, I don’t give a f–k attitude.”
Rexha also updated her Instagram bio to “#EXTRADIRTY,” and linked out to a new website called Are U Dirty? The site features the words in glitzy pink letters, and an opportunity for fans to sign up to “talk dirty” to Rexha.
The “assault hit in face at concert” comment is a reference to a 2023 incident in which Rexha was hit in the forehead by a phone thrown by a fan at a show in New York City. The incident split her eyebrow and caused a black eye, and she received stitches at a hospital.
Her new era tease comes three years after the release of her third album Bebe, which came out in 2023 and featured the singles “Heart Wants What It Wants,” “Call on Me” and “Satellite.”
Rexha released the single “I’m the Drama” at Coachella in 2024, and in December, she went viral after she enlisted fans to help in her search for a “baby daddy.”
“Here is what I’m looking for,” she wrote on X. “Looks: I’m ok with a 6 ot 7 (personality is key for me). Height: I don’t need someone tall just be taller than me. 5’8 and up. Job: must be successful and not a moocher. Must be richer than me or equal. don’t pay for men or do 50/50. Someone who has a good personality. Good morals and is smart and driven. Send me options.”
Earlier this month, Rexha told fans that she’d recently entered a partnership with the independent music company Empire after releasing her previous albums on Warner.
“THEY BELIEVE AND ARE AMAZING,” she wrote on X.
In a statement shared with Variety, Rexha said that while she’s best known as a pop artist, she’s always considered herself “a singer and songwriter first.”
“Going independent and partnering with Empire isn’t just a business move for me. They believe in my vision and trust my instincts, which has refueled my creativity. This new era is about embracing every part of myself, even when I’m a mess,” she said. “This version of me is unapologetically comfortable in my own lane. I’m excited to invite people deeper into my world, beyond the music. I do this for mom, fans and little Bebe”.
