Below Deck Mediterranean stew Kizzi Kitchener surprised her coworkers when she revealed she contracted multiple sexually transmitted diseases while out at sea.

During the Monday, October 13, episode of the hit Bravo series, Kizzi confirmed she was dating someone off the boat, saying, “It’s new. I came off my last boat with three STDs.” The rest of the crew was surprised by her revelation — and had follow-up questions.

Kizzi clarified that she was diagnosed “at the same time” instead of on three different occasions. She also noted that the sexually transmitted infections, or STIs, were “not the clap” or “crabs,” before adding, “I don’t have anything anymore.”

The confession about Kizzi’s personal life came after she previously shared a moment with Chef Josh Bingham.

As soon as you step foot on a Below Deck Mediterranean charter yacht, you’re guaranteed one thing: a whole lot of drama. Throughout its Bravo run, crew members like Captain Sandy Yawn, Hannah Ferrier, Malia White and more have been know to butt heads with each other — all with the purpose of delivering a […]

“I am a massive flirt,” she shared in a confessional earlier this month. “I love the person that I am seeing to be kind of obsessed with me in a slightly unhealthy manner.”

She continued: “But also, I don’t want you to come knocking at my door with a knife and be like, ‘I want to wear your skin.’ Not that kind of obsession. I have a really big fear of being murdered but I want princess treatment.”

Later in the same episode, Kizz connected with bosun Nathan Gallagher. She was later asked by producers about her dating life.

“When I am single I just feel free to act however I want to act,” she shared. “This one time I was on a date with a guy and I slept with him. Then I found out he is in a cult. I don’t want to say everything in case he comes and murders me, but I don’t think he will.”

Season 10, which premiered last month, reunited Aesha Scott with Captain Sandy Yawn and now-bosun Nathan. In addition to past Below Deck star deckhand Max Salvador, the rest of the crew is made up of Josh, stews Kizzi and Victoria SanJuan and deckhands Christian Trimino and Tessa Budd.

“There is so much that happens. Like, the viewers this whole entire season are going to be absolutely enthralled,” Aesha teased exclusively to Us Weekly at the time. “I feel like with last season, it was a lot of the same stuff. It was the love triangles, and there were a lot of themes that just extended over. Whereas this season, every single charter I was like, ‘What just happened? And now that happened.’”

Over the years, Bravo viewers have seen Below Deck Mediterranean cast members come and go — but not before they brought the drama to the small screen. The spinoff series, which premiered in 2016, seemingly found a permanent crew member in chief stew Hannah Ferrier. The Australia native appeared in five seasons of the hit […]

Aesha was excited to start fresh in season 10.

“I was like, ‘The story God is shining upon us.’ Because so much kept happening. There was so [much] interesting [stuff], but it’s not toxic or gross stuff,” she added. “It’s people’s real lives and family stories and just really interesting and often relatable stuff.”

Captain Sandy also teased what viewers can expect.

“I’ve always felt settled. I think maybe the interior feels more settled [this season], to be honest. Also for me, I don’t have to worry. It’s not that I have to walk through and make sure [the stews are] doing their job and the guests are looked after,” she shared with Us. “Having Aesha on board just says everything is fine on the interior for me — unless someone is obviously pushing back against her.”

Below Deck Med airs on Bravo Mondays at 8 p.m. ET. New episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
