Ben Affleck ditches his beard for clean-shaven look

Ben Affleck ditched his longtime beard for a shocking clean-shaven look.

The actor, 53, was spotted driving in LA on Thursday rocking his fresh face as well as a beige suit jacket and white button-up shirt.

The “Argo” director is known for his signature scruffier look, which he’s been sporting for over a year but has gone without facial hair plenty of times in the past.

He was last seen earlier this month with his classic salt-and-pepper beard as he celebrated his first birthday since finalizing his divorce from Jennifer Lopez.

Lopez, 56, was reportedly “seeing red” after her ex debuted a freshly-dyed face and began a stricter maintenance routine shortly after their split last year.

“Ben is suddenly going out of his way to pamper himself and look his absolute best,” a source told inTouch Weekly in October 2024 — two months after the singer filed for divorce.

“He’s now dyeing his hair, getting manicures and pedicures, getting waxed from head to toe. He’s even getting hair plugs and seeing the dermatologist for skin treatments to turn back the clock.” 

“Even his diet is cleaner. He’s cut out a ton of the junk,” they added.

The insider added, “These are all the things she wanted him to do when they were together and he totally refused.” 

Perhaps the newest glow up could be a hint that the producer is ready to get back into the dating scene.

In May, Affleck declared his love for Latinas and revealed that he feels “very good” about earning the title of “Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor” while getting dinner at hotspot Lavo in West Hollywood, Calif.

The pair were — who were previously engaged in 2002 — married in 2022 after rekindling their romance in 2021. However, they separated two years later and finalized their divorce in January.
