Ben and Casey Affleck’s dad, Tim, died earlier this year

Ben and Casey Affleck’s father, Timothy “Tim” Byers Affleck, died earlier this year.

Casey, 51, revealed the sad news Tuesday during a press conference for his movie “Company” at the 2026 Venice International Film Festival.

“It’s dedicated to my parents because I lost both my mom and my dad this year, and they were very important to me,” Casey — who directed and co-wrote the film — shared while speaking on a panel.

It’s unclear exactly when Tim — born March 21, 1950 — died.

“I really wanted to show this movie to them, and I didn’t get to,” Casey lamented during his short speech. “I think they would have liked it.”

Reps for the Affleck brothers did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

Their mother, Chris Anne Affleck, died in June at age 82 following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
