Bianca Censori ‘tried to get out’ of Kanye West marriage before his rehab stay: report
Bianca Censori had a plan — run away as fast as she can.
Kanye West’s wife reportedly “tried to get out” of her marriage “a number of times” before the rapper’s recent rehab stay.
A source shared with People on Friday that Censori, 31, “had been very unhappy in their marriage for a while.”
Reps for Censori and West did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Page Six reported in February 2025 that the couple had called it quits after two years of marriage.
“She’s had enough,” a source told us at the time, blaming their split on the Yeezy creator, 48, selling swastika shirts and claiming to have “dominion” over his partner after she posed in a completely see-through dress at the Grammys.
“She doesn’t want any part of that circus,” the insider added. “He’s saying that she’s just ‘mad at him,’ but right now, she’s told him that she’s completely done.”
We heard at the time that West believed Censori would “come back” to him, and his spokesperson denied a pending divorce.
By the end of the month, the on-again, off-again couple had “decided to make their marriage work again” as they weren’t “ready to give up on each other.”
The Grammy winner did confirm in April 2025 that his “baby ran away” from him.
Telling lyrics in “BIANCA,” released in April 2025, read, “She’s having a panic attack and she is not liking the way that I tweeted / Until Bianca’s back I stay up all night I’m not going to sleep / I really don’t know where she’s at.
“I’m tracking my b–h through an app / I’m tracking my b–h through the city,” the song continues. “She hop in the car and she ran / My b–h just don’t understand / Sometimes it just feel like it’s planned.”
Additionally, West claimed Censori and her family “wanted [him] locked up” and “tried to get [him] committed.”
The pair, however, have since been seen together on multiple occasions, most recently enjoying a movie date in Los Angeles last week.
Over the weekend, West released a public apology via the Wall Street Journal over his past racist and antisemitic comments and opened up about his bipolar disorder.
He subsequently told Vanity Fair that Censori “recognized” her husband was in “rock bottom” after a medication change and “sought out what’s been [an] effective and stabilizing course correction … from a rehab facility in Switzerland.”
The duo got married in December 2022, one month after West settled his divorce from ex-wife Kim Kardashian, with whom he welcomed four children.
