Bill Belichick makes surprising claim about Jordon Hudson romance in leaked emails

Bill Belichick made a shocking claim about his relationship with Jordon Hudson following their calamitous CBS interview.
Belichik, 73 — who now coaches football at the University of North Carolina — clearly defined his controversial romance and working relationship with the 24-year-old as he explained why she attended his April interview, according to alleged leaked emails.
“Jordon and I have both a personal & professional relationship,” Belchick allegedly wrote to UNC’s Beth Keith, a senior associate vice chancellor in the Office of University Communications, per WRAL.
“This is not a secret. Jordon assists me with my personal media, which is why I asked UNC to forward media requests (E.G. CBS 60 Minutes) to her. Jordon has zero involvement in the UNC football program, beyond the degree that my personal media intersects with it.”
The now-infamous sit down was meant to be a chance for Belichick to promote his new book, “The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football.”
However, the interview soon went off the rails when Hudson interrupted Belichick’s conversation with reporter Tony Dokoupil to stop the conversation from focusing on their personal relationship.
In an email written after the interview, Belichick explained that CBS originally requested they film the interview in Chapel Hill, but “I rejected because UNC was not part of the book.”
The coach continued, explaining that the former cheerleader attended the interview because his publicist David Kass — who works for the publishing company behind Belichick’s book Simon & Schuster — was “not there.”
“I included Jordon in the book acknowledgments because she was a creative contributor to the book, including having the idea for formatting the 4 special pages in the book,” Belichick wrote.
Page Six reached out to the University of North Carolina for comment but did not immediately receive a response.
Belichick shared a similar sentiment when he defended his girlfriend’s interjection in a lengthy statement in May.
“I agreed to speak with ‘CBS Sunday Morning’ to promote my new book, ‘The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football.’ Prior to this interview, I clearly communicated with my publicist at Simon & Schuster that any promotional interviews I participated in would agree to focus solely on the contents of the book,” the former NFL star wrote.
“Unfortunately, that expectation was not honored during the interview. I was surprised when unrelated topics were introduced, and I repeatedly expressed to the reporter, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers that I preferred to keep the conversation centered on the book.”
Belichick claimed that “after this occurred several times,” Hudson — with whom he shares a “personal and professional relationship” — jumped in to “reiterate that point to help refocus the discussion.”
The legendary NFL coach reiterated that they met on a flight in 2021, which they’ve been vocal about in the past.
