Bill Hader and Ali Wong reportedly break up after two years together

Bill Hader and Ali Wong’s on-again, off-again relationship has reportedly come to an end.

The comedians called it quits over their “difficult” schedules, according to People.

The outlet noted on Wednesday that Wong, 43, has an “upcoming stand up tour” and Hader, 47, is busy with “various film and TV projects this year.”

However, the exes are allegedly “focusing on their work and kids while continuing to support and root for each other.

“They are very much friends and still in touch,” a source insisted of the “very amicable” duo.

Reps for Hader and Wong did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

News broke in December 2022 that the pair had “very briefly” dated on the heels of Wong’s divorce from Justin Hakuta and Hader’s split from Anna Kendrick.

“They’re just super busy with things, but [the split] was certainly amicable,” a source told Page Six at the time. “They’re certainly friends.”

The insider added, “Only a small circle of A-list comedians know and everyone was thrilled about it. [Their friends] helped them protect the relationship in light of Ali’s divorce.”

By April of the following year, however, Wong and Hader were back together.

The actor casually mentioned his “girlfriend” in a Collider interview at the time, saying, “My girlfriend and I were just figuring out that I haven’t had a vacation in 10 years. I went with her to San Francisco, but that doesn’t really count. So, I’m going to have a vacation.”

His rep confirmed to us that the “Barry” star was, in fact, referring to Wong.

In February 2025, the couple made their red carpet debut at the Directors Guild of America Awards.

While the duo kept their connection private, Wong did explain during her 2024 “Single Lady” special how Hader wooed her with “giant flower arrangements.”

They met on a dating app, with Hader telling her, “I just happened to hear the news of your divorce today, and I gotta tell you, I’m excited because, … I have had a crush on you forever. I actually told my best friend years ago that you were my dream girl.”
