Blake Lively drops longtime publicist Leslie Sloane after Justin Baldoni debacle

Blake Lively has cut ties with her longtime publicist, Hollywood powerhouse Leslie Sloane, after the fallout from the actress’ headline-making drama with Justin Baldoni, three sources exclusively confirmed to Page Six.

Lively hired the entertainment exec more than two decades ago, as she was rising to fame on “Gossip Girl” and Sloane was still working at PR firm Baker Winokur Ryder. Sloane is widely credited with helping propel Lively to stardom.

In 2014, Sloane took Lively with her when she launched her own firm, Vision PR. Sloane’s company has since represented some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including Katie Holmes, Chris Rock, Uma Thurman, Marlon Wayans and more.

Page Six has reached out to Sloan for comment but did not hear back at the time of publication. Lively’s manager also did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Sloane was let go after Lively faced backlash over her nasty 18-month court battle with Justin Baldoni, which cost the “It Ends With Us” co-stars a combined $60 million in legal fees.

In December 2024, Lively sued Baldoni, accusing the director of sexual harassment and orchestrating a retaliatory smear campaign against her after she complained about his alleged behavior on the “It Ends With Us” set.

Baldoni denied the allegations and fired back with a $400 million defamation and extortion lawsuit against Lively and the “Deadpool” actor, accusing them of trying to destroy his reputation.

The “Jane the Virgin” alum also included Sloane and Vision PR in his countersuit, claiming that she planted negative stories about him in the press and launched a smear campaign against him — claims the publicist vehemently denied and that were later dismissed by a judge.

A judge tossed Baldoni’s lawsuit in June 2025 and dismissed Lively’s sexual harassment claims in April 2026, leaving her retaliation claim against Baldoni’s production company, Wayfarer Studios.

The two sides ultimately reached an anticlimactic settlement in May 2026 — just two weeks before they were set to go to trial.
