Blake Lively’s sister Robyn supports the actress amid bombshell complaint against Justin Baldoni: ‘Finally justice’
Blake Lively’s sister Robyn Lively showed she has her back after the “Gossip Girl” alum filed a complaint accusing Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment.
“FINALLY justice for my sister @blakelively,” Robyn posted on her Instagram Story Saturday.
The “Teen Witch” actress also shared a link to the New York Times article about the alleged smear campaign that Baldoni allegedly launched against Blake during the rollout of their film “It Ends With Us” in August.
Robyn, 52, shared multiple screenshots from the article published Saturday, highlighting several lines in the piece.
“‘We can bury anyone’” was one of the phrases she highlighted in yellow, along with, “people really want to hate on women.”
Blake’s older sister also emphasized the quote, “He wants to feel like she can be buried,” which was in reference to Baldoni’s alleged goal to “harm” his co-star’s reputation.
Robyn also shared a separate Instagram Story in which she urged her followers to read the article about Blake’s complaint against Baldoni, 40.
In the complaint obtained by Page Six, Blake, 37, claims she called for an “all-hands” meeting in January to discuss Baldoni’s behavior on the set of “It Ends With Us.”
The “Jane the Virgin” alum was warned to cease showing Blake “nude videos or images of women” and to stop mentioning his past “porn addiction” to her. Baldoni was also told to stop discussing his “personal experiences with sex” with Blake, per the legal filing.
Blake also requested that an intimacy coordinator be present at all times during her scenes with Baldoni and all “intimate touch” must be choreographed in advance. She also stipulated “no biting or sucking of lip” without her consent.
Bryan Freedman, an attorney for Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, told Page Six of Blake’s allegations, “It is shameful that Ms. Lively and her representatives would make such serious and categorically false accusations.
“These claims are completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt and rehash a narrative in the media.”
After Blake filed the complaint against Baldoni, which is a precursor to a lawsuit, he was dropped by his talent agency, WME. The mother of four is still represented by the same agency.
Meanwhile, Robyn also showed support for her sister in August as Blake was coming under fire for making “mean girl” comments in resurfaced interviews and promoting her businesses instead of the film’s domestic violence themes.
“Blake is a lovely human being! I hope she knows that the multitudes of people who love her is so much greater than the negative voices. Happy Birthday Blake!!” one fan commented on Robyn’s birthday tribute to her sister.
Robyn replied with, “Thank you for this.”
