It’s been two-and-a-half years since Bling Empire ended and Christine Chiu is sharing her thoughts on whether or not she would return to reality television.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, the philanthropist and personality, 42, admitted that the idea of joining a popular franchise has been on her mind.

“Yes, I think there are the interest pokers from those entities,” she said of longstanding rumors that she could one day join the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. “They’re there. The poking is there.”

Christine told PEOPLE, “I’m here at a wedding and Kathy [Hilton]’s here as well. And we were chatting last night about it.”

The Netflix star has been friends with the socialite and former designer, 66, and her family for some time.

In Christmas photos taken together last year and shared on Instagram, Christine showed support for Nicky Hilton by “wishing” to be “snatching up all the pieces in your next Apres Ski and St. Barths collections” for Christmas 2025.

Kathy initially joined RHOBH as a “friend of the housewives” for the series’ season 11, which aired in 2021. She returned again in the same role a year later, but in June 2023, she confirmed her departure from the Bravo series. She returned as a “friend” for the currently airing season 14.

During her conversation with PEOPLE, Christine admitted, “It’s its own monster and you have to be super ready for it.”

“And if anything is going to cause hair to fall out, I feel like that could be very inducing to a loss of hair,” she joked of her current health situation. “But no, I think it’s a fun ride. And maybe I actually have met with, I don’t want to say which execs, but it’s in the environment.”

Christine told PEOPLE, “I don’t think I’ll join [the] Housewives franchise per se, but I’m not opposed to Bravo as a whole or NBCUniversal,” which is the parent company of Bravo.

Bravo reps did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment but do not typically comment on casting rumors.

At the Gold Gala in May 2024, Christine cleared up chatter about rumblings that she was supposed to join RHOBH way back in 2014.

“I actually got the contract for it,” she told PEOPLE exclusively. “At that time, somebody on my father’s side passed away, and then my dog was on the verge of passing away, so emotionally I don’t think I was quite ready.”

“And my husband’s family was very much against reality TV, so I actually had to back out,” she added. “NBC Universal was very gracious in allowing me to do so.”

Christine is married to Dr. Gabriel Chiu and is a managing partner at his plastic surgery practice. The couple are parents to 6-year-old Gabriel Chiu III, also known as “Baby G.” Her family life and fertility journey were showcased on three seasons of Netflix’s Bling Empire.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo, and can be streamed on Peacock the next day.
