Braxton Keith Scolds Fans for ‘Throw F—— Beers’ at the Stage During Concert

- Country musician Braxton Keith paused his show to address fans throwing beer cans onstage during a concert in Gilmer, Texas
- Fans praised him for taking the time to call out the disrespectful behavior
- He is currently touring the U.S. following the release of his EP Blue
Braxton Keith is not impressed with his concertgoers’ lack of etiquette.
During a show in Gilmer, Texas on Saturday, April 5, fans threw beer cans at the stage, aiming for Keith and his band. The “Under Them Neons” singer paused his performance to ask the audience to be respectful of live music and the people gathered to listen.
In a video shared on Keith’s TikTok, beer cans are seen flying in the air towards the stage as the band performs “Honky Tonk City.” After one can narrowly misses the rising country star, he tells the band to “pause this s—” to address the crowd.
“Hey listen up,” Keith began. “I didn’t come here to get beer cans thrown at me, alright? This isn’t a goddamn Gavin Adcock concert, okay? Don’t be throwing f—ing beers out here. These people at the front are gettin’ wet up here and it’s gonna piss them off and it’s gonna piss me off.”
Keith then pointed out a fan at her first country show, saying he wanted her to have a good experience. “This little girl right here’s never been to a country concert before, and it’s her first damn time, okay? We’re gonna have a good show for her, okay?”
After the incident, Keith emphasized that everyone was gathered to listen to country music and proceeded with his song. He posted the video on his TikTok, reiterating that it was “unacceptable behavior for any concert” in the caption.
“Nobody likes beer and trash getting thrown at them. I love live music and when given the opportunity to speak up about unruliness in the concert community, I will protect my audience, band, crew, equipment, and most importantly, the integrity of live performance experiences.”
Fans appreciated Keith taking the time to address the disrespectful behavior. “So much respect for you Braxton! Can we normalize NOT throwing beer cans!!!,” one person said.

“Was at this concert and so frustrated at the behavior, so embarrassing for this community. you handled this amazing and put on a great show!!” another wrote. “I mean…he’s not making an unreasonable request,” a third added.
Some fans questioned the logic behind throwing beer at the performers. “how do you go to a concert pay for the beer and then launch it at the people you come to watch lmao i don’t get it,” they said. “Who is wasting $12 a pop throwing beers,” another chimed in. “Waste of a expensive beer 😭,” someone else agreed.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time objects have been thrown onstage during concerts. In July 2023, Harry Styles was hit in the face while performing in Vienna. Morgan Wallen was hit in the face by a fan’s phone during a concert in Denver in July 2024.
Billie Eilish was hit in the face with an object during a December 2024 concert in Arizona while singing “What Was I Made For?”
Keith released his EP Blue earlier this year and is touring the U.S.
