Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia isn’t holding back, and she’s leaning on Taylor Swift for a second time to make a point.

In an Instagram Stories post shared on Friday, Jan. 9, the Barstool Media personality reposted Taylor Swift’s song “Actually Romantic” from Spotify, including the lyrics: “It’s actually sweet all the time you’ve spent on me. It’s honestly wild.”

The post came shortly after her ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan released his new album With Heaven on Top, which many fans theorized included a diss track about LaPaglia.

On the song “Skin,” Bryan takes aim at an ex, promising to take “a blade to my old tattoos” in order to drain “the blood between me and you.”

“I’m taking a blade to my own skin/And I ain’t ever touching yours again,” he sings. “How do tattoos take to your skin? Does your higher ground ever sink in? Do you love people just to win when it’s over?”

Bryan also slams his ex for talking poorly about her friends with the lyrics, “Do you still talk s— on all of your friends?/Need to take it all to the chin this time stone-cold sober.”

Fans speculated the song is pointed at LaPaglia, from whom Bryan announced his split in October 2024. The podcast host has Bryan’s lyrics from the song “28” tattooed on the back of her arm. The two broke up under acrimonious circumstances, as she later accused the musician of emotional abuse, and claimed that he offered her $12 million and a house to not speak publicly about their relationship.

Days prior, LaPaglia appeared to mock her ex after he confirmed his recent marriage to Samantha Leonard. In a subtle TikTok video shared on Friday, Jan. 2, she could be seen singing along to pointed lyrics from Swift’s “Mastermind.”

“Checkmate, I couldn’t lose,” she lip-syncs in the clip, as she sports a white top and a tan New York Yankees cap.

Bryan, 29, revealed the first glimpse of his wedding on Instagram on Wednesday, Dec. 31, sharing a photo of himself and his bride. In the photo, Leonard, 28, wore a strapless white gown with a feather-trimmed hem as the country star held her close.

“Tougher than the rest,” the country star captioned the post, referencing Bruce Springsteen’s love song with the same name, from Tunnel of Love.

Prior to the announcement, the couple had sparked engagement rumors when Leonard appeared wearing a diamond ring on her left hand on Bryan’s Instagram Stories.

The two were first spotted together in July 2025, when Leonard shared photos from their time spent in Spain’s Running of the Bulls.

Months later, LaPaglia shared her thoughts on Bryan’s new relationship as she responded to fan comments that Leonard looked like her.

“Next question that I got a million times: Please, what do you think about Zach’s girlfriend looking exactly like you?” the internet personality said on her Plan Bri Uncut podcast on Oct. 12.

“I think this is narcissism textbook 101 — that’s what narcissists do, they just go and find another version of you to date,” said LaPaglia. “People are like, ‘Are you creeped out? Are you mad? Are you annoyed? Are you flattered?’ I am flattered, to be honest, but I dyed my hair so that people stop sending me every single picture that he posts of her.”

About a month after her split from Bryan, LaPaglia accused him of being emotionally abusive, claiming that he attempted to silence her with a $12 million payout and a house.

“You made the women before me believe that they had no other choice than to take money from you, sign their experiences away, sign what they went through away,” she alleged on the BFFs Podcast. “You get to go skip off and sing your little f—ing songs on stage like you’re a good dude … Sorry, I’m not them.”

Bryan has not commented on the allegations. He did, however, subtly reference his ex in his Instagram Stories, where he set fire to a flag for Barstool Sports, the same media company that hosts LaPaglia’s podcast.

During an appearance on Casual Chaos back in April, LaPaglia got candid about how her relationship with Bryan impacted her.

“I was catching myself worried about what I was saying or how people would perceive me and I was never like that before,” she said at the time. “I couldn’t recognize myself anymore… I didn’t even realize I was turning into something that I wasn’t.”

She continued, “I think that’s…kind of when the light bulb went off… Someone really can have so much control or power over you without you even realizing it.”
