Brie Larson and Alexandra Daddario accidentally twin in same polka-dotted dress at Filming Italy event
Whoops!
Brie Larson and Alexandra Daddario had an accidental twinning moment in Italy when the two actresses at the Filming Italy event in the exact same dress.
The two stars chose a black and white polka-dotted style from celeb-loved brand Dôen, which retails for $498 and features a 1950s-inspired sweetheart-style neckline and spaghetti straps — and didn’t appear to coordinate on purpose.
Larson, 34, accessorized her look with black strappy heels and a red clutch, while Daddario, 38, dressed hers down with white sneakers and a casual straw purse for the film festival, which runs through Sunday.
The duo didn’t shy away from each other despite the potential awkwardness, posing together in photos with John David Washington and others on the red carpet.
While the “Captain Marvel” star did not post from the event, the “White Lotus” actress did share a snap — though she poked fun at her “San Andreas” co-stars, staging a reunion with Ioan Gruffudd and Carla Gugino and Photoshopping in a photo of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who all appeared in the 2015 movie.
Rachel Zegler joked, “so nice of the rock to show up camera ready” and another wrote, “The Rock hasn’t aged a day.”
Later in the day, Daddario changed into a white maxi dress featuring a floral design around her mid-section.
Larson isn’t a stranger to twinning on the red carpet; she and Marvel co-star Scarlett Johansson both wore their own versions of Infinity Gauntlets to the “Avengers: End Game” premiere in 2019, in a nod to the ultimate villain, Thanos.
Perhaps Larson and Daddario will team up for a future project — on or off the red carpet.
