Brooke Hogan Wants Mom Linda to Find ‘Help’ After Refuting Story About Late Dad Hulk’s Alleged Affair (Exclusive)

Brooke Hogan responded after her estranged mother, Linda, refuted a story about her late father, Hulk, having an affair with one of her best friends. 

“I genuinely hope she finds whatever help and healing she needs,” Brooke, 38, exclusively told Us on Friday, September 25. “She’s my mom, and I love her. But loving someone doesn’t mean allowing them to keep bullying you, publicly rewriting history or provoking you and expecting you to stay silent.”

In an exclusive interview with Us published on Thursday, September 24, Brooke reflected on her dad allegedly sleeping with her friend Christiane Plante when he was still legally married to Linda. 

Linda, 67, took to social media on Friday to shoot down Brooke’s claim. “I was there and no he didn’t,” Linda commented via Instagram. 

“She would be wise to stop here,” Brooke told Us on Friday. “Not because I’m looking for a fight — I’m not — but because I have no interest in arguing, and I also have no interest in continuing to absorb attacks quietly. The truth is documented. I’d strongly suggest she quit while she’s behind.”

Brooke also took to social media to push back against her mom’s assertion, sharing an excerpt from Linda’s 2011 memoir, Wrestling the Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes, in which she addressed Hulk’s affair with Plante. 

“When Brooke told me about [Hulk’s] affair with Christiane, it felt good to hear Brooke say that my suspicions were right all along,” Linda wrote at the time. “She told me that she felt bad for me. Having Brooke understand my position gave me extra confirmation that I had made the right decision.”

Linda filed for divorce from Hulk in 2007 after 24 years of marriage. The divorce was finalized in 2009.

Plante confirmed the affair with Hulk to the National Enquirer in 2008. She said the relationship happened during a time when Hulk and Linda “privately knew their marriage was ending.”

Brooke — who released a new song, “Goes Around,” about the drama with her mother on Friday — told Us in Thursday’s interview that her late father sleeping with one of her best friends was “a major turning point in their relationship.”

Hulk died of a heart attack in July 2025. He was 71. 

“I forgive people very easily — sometimes probably too easily — and I forgave him, but something between us changed afterward,” she added. “I don’t think he ever related to me in quite the same way again.”
