Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Renew Their Vows After 3 Years of Marriage Amid Family Drama (Exclusive)

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz proved their commitment to each other by renewing their vows.

‘This is a moment to celebrate their love and commitment and to create a meaningful memory together,” a source close to the couple exclusively shared with Us Weekly on Saturday, August 2, the day of the couple’s vow renewal.

Beckham, 26, and Peltz, 30, have been together since October 2019. The couple announced their engagement in July 2020 and tied the knot in April 2022.

In June, Beckham reflected on the anniversary of his proposal to Peltz in a gushing Instagram post.

“It’s been five years since I asked this beautiful woman to marry me xx,” he wrote at the time. “Best decision ever x I love you so much.”

The month before, Beckham proclaimed his devotion to Peltz.

“My whole world,” he captioned a May Instagram post of his wife. “I will love you forever.”

He added, “I always choose you, baby. You’re the most amazing person I know. Me and you forever, baby.”

The pair’s vow renewal comes amid their rift with Brooklyn’s parents, David and Victoria Beckham, and siblings Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14. Rumors of a family feud began after Brooklyn and Peltz missed David’s 50th birthday party in March.

In May, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the duo requested a “separate meetup” with David for his birthday amid tension between Brooklyn and Romeo, but the family shot down the idea.

“David and Victoria are over it,” the insider said. “They’ve thrown in the towel over the whole thing.”

According to the source, David and Victoria, 51, “just want to treat everyone the same and approach life like a family,” but Brooklyn “isn’t playing it like that and everything is a drama.”

Later that month, a second insider told Us that “bad blood” between Victoria and Peltz dating back to before Brooklyn and Peltz’s nuptials also contributed to the family rift.

“Things never really got smoothed over, and you can tell it still affects everyone,” the source said. “The tension is still present and it’s hard for Brooklyn at times. Brooklyn’s having a tough time with it. He’s super stubborn and just wants space from his family right now.”

The insider noted that Brooklyn’s loyalty to Peltz has put a strain on his dynamic with David and Victoria.

“He completely supports and stands by Nicola, and it has put a rift in his relationship with his parents,” the source told Us. “Nicola is outspoken and that is what has caused tension with his parents. She will defend Brooklyn a lot and is defensive. Brooklyn will always be on Nicola’s side, and that’s made things even more tense between him and his parents.”

Meanwhile, a third insider revealed in May that David and Victoria felt “betrayed” by the deterioration of their relationship with their eldest son, but they still had “a desire to mend” things.

Despite the difficult circumstances with his family, Brooklyn’s marriage to Peltz has never been stronger.

“Nicola and Brooklyn are incredibly happy together, dedicated to building a marriage based on unconditional love, caring, support and family,” the source added. “It seems this exposure to a healthy relationship has made Brooklyn question his own family and upbringing.”
