Brooks Nader gives bizarre reason for ditching bathing suit top on boat ride with dad

Brooke Nader sees no problem with ditching her bathing suit top on a boat with her dad because he’s “half-blind.”

The Sports Illustrated model told “Entertainment Tonight” on Thursday that her father, Breux Nader, “didn’t even notice” she was in only white crochet bottoms on their Sardinia, Italy, yacht ride last month.

“He was like, ‘I don’t care,’” the “Baywatch” star, 29, claimed. “He has selective hearing and selective seeing.”

Brooks defended the decision, telling the outlet, “I don’t care if I’m not from Europe. I’m from Louisiana. I grew up in an all-girl household. We’re always naked together as sisters.”

She gushed that she had “the time of [her] freaking life” during the getaway with Breux, her mom, Holland Nader, and her 24-year-old sister, Sarah Jane Nader.

“I was just having the time of my life and really not thinking that anyone was documenting some of it, but we love it,” the actress added. “It’s great.”

Last month, Brooks poked fun at the wild social media response to her unconventional family outing.

She posted a picture of herself jumping into the ocean in a black dress — and a pair of matching heels.

“Are we happy now?” the “Love Thy Nader” alum captioned the cheeky social media upload.

Brooks was in Positano, Italy, with model Jack Lumsden at the time, with the duo cozying up together in the water.

When the pair were photographed on a yacht that same week, Brooks sported only a towel while Lumsden pretended to wear her white eyelet bikini.

Nader recently revealed she was forbidden from wearing two-piece bathing suits growing up.

“[My parents are] pumped about ‘Baywatch’ because it’s a one-piece,” she told Fox News Digital in May. “They’re like, ‘You’re following the family rules.’”

Swimsuits aside, Brooks is known for stepping out in sheer looks, most recently at a Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) event kicking off New York Fashion Week.

For the Thursday outing in Manhattan, Brooks opted for a see-through black lace midi dress.

She clarified to Us Weekly in November 2025 that most of her “many” nip slips are “not intentional.”

Brooks explained last year, “Whenever the actual areola is popping out … I am baffled.I think it’s like a curse, I don’t know.”

As for why she doesn’t secure her outfits with fashion tape, Brooks noted that she “hate[s] being told what to do.”
