Busy Philipps holds hands with comedian Jason Selvig after revealing malignant brain tumor

Busy Philipps put her new romance on display, hours after going public with her malignant brain tumor diagnosis.

The “Dawson’s Creek” alum was photographed holding hands with street interviewer Jason Selvig in New York City on Wednesday.

The actress, 47, was all smiles while strolling hand-in-hand with the Good Liars comedian.

She rocked a floral yellow dress and red Reeboks, completing her casual look with a black baseball cap and sunglasses.

Selvig, for his part, sported a graphic tee, blue shorts and sneakers while walking with Philipps.

He, notably, posts viral videos trolling President Trump supporters — which Philipps has been steadily “liking” since February.

It is unclear when she and Selvig began dating.

Philipps’ rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The “Freaks and Geeks” alum was last romantically linked to Blake Berris, with the duo making their red carpet debut in October 2025.

Before that, the “Cougar Town” alum dated director Jon Kasbe, which was her first public romance post-divorce.

Philipps was married to Marc Silverstein, with whom she shares Birdie, 18, and Cricket, 13, between 2007 and 2021 — and the screenwriter, 55, supported his former spouse during her brain surgery journey.

On Wednesday, Philipps told People she went under the knife in March to remove a Grade 2 oligodendroglioma, a rare slow-growing tumor, spotted during a Prenuvo scan.

She had another procedure in April to clear a staphylococcus infection at the incision site.

Philipps is now “grateful to be alive” after the “weirdest six months of [her] life,” she told the outlet in her cover story.

“I wasn’t consciously aware that anything was really wrong, but there was something that was misfiring,” she said. “Like, I could not get a handle on it.

“We are frequently told by doctors that there is nothing to worry about [when] you kind of know that there’s something to worry about,” she added. “There’s nothing to be afraid of in having information. It’s only empowering.”
