Catherine O’Hara suffered from a “brief illness” before untimely death on Friday, Page Six can confirm.

“Prolific multi-award-winning actress, writer and comedian Catherine O’Hara died today at her home in Los Angeles following a brief illness,” CAA confirmed in a statement.

O’Hara struggled with the rare condition situs inversus, a condition in which the arrangement of the internal organs is a mirror image of normal anatomy, according to NIH.

The “Schitts Creek” star is survived by her longtime husband, Bo Welch, and sons Matthew and Luke. The family plans to hold a “private celebration of life” for the actress.

The Canadian native had a career that spanned decades, from 1980s hits like “Beetlejuice” to the current critically acclaimed Apple TV series “The Studio.”
