Celebrity Big Brother star Bradley Riches is officially engaged to partner Scott Johnston.
The 22-year-old actor took to his Instagram page to share a series of snaps from the engagement. He captioned the post: “08/04/2024 Erm…YES! I never thought I’d find someone who gets me and loves me for me. I have always struggled connecting my emotions in relationships and then @scottjohnston1.8 came. I felt safe and accepted and most importantly loved.
“I love you endlessly.” The couple got engaged with a stunning view of the city and beach. One snap showed them embracing in a heart made of rose petals. In another picture, Bradley showed off his gorgeous ring along with the incredible view of Sorrento, Italy, in the background.
His friends and fans immediately rushed to the comment section to congratulate the Heartstopper actor on the incredible news. Big Brother co-star Colson Smith posted: “I cannot wait for the wash boys to sing at the wedding.” Big Brother host AJ Odudu added: “Omg CONGRATULATIONS.”
Winner of the reality show, David Potts, commented: “OH MY GODDDDDDDDD AHHH CONGRATULATIONS BABY,” while co-star Zeze Millz said: “Awwwwww! Congratulations.” Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu commented: “Congratulations to you both.” One fan wrote: “Omg guys congratulations you two! So so happy for u Bradley! I wish you both all the love in the world.”
Bradley was one of the many stars taking part in the revived version of CBB last month. However, viewers were quick to make Ofcom complaints about a ‘cruel’ moment involving Bradley Riches’ eviction. A few days before the final, the stars were treated to reunions with their loved ones.
While everyone else got to have their special moment with their friends and family, Bradley was greeted by host AJ who told him he was being secretly evicted from the house by the backdoor. The Heartstopper star waited in the communal garden in hopes of reuniting with his loved ones but was instead kicked out of the house. Viewers thought the moment was harsh as he looked upset over the twist and spent many weeks away from his friends and family.
Ofcom racked up a total of 210 complaints from Celebrity Big Brother viewers about the episode that aired on March 21. It was Ofcom’s only complained-about show between March 19 and March 25. Fans were heartbroken over the moment and rushed to social media when the scenes unfolded.
