Cher and Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards seemed ‘very much in love’ at Faena exhibit in NYC

Cher brought her ice cream brand and her younger boyfriend to NYC over the weekend.

The “If I Could Turn Back Time” singer, 79, and her much younger producer beau, Alexander “AE” Edwards, 39, celebrated the opening of Alan Faena’s new hotel in West Chelsea on Friday, and we’re told they were glued at the hip.

“Cher and her boyfriend were very close and stuck together…They seem very much in love and happy to be together,” a source told Page Six.

Cher and Edwards attended a private opening of “Amaze, Vogue, Ascend, Flourish,” an installation commissioned by Faena Art that transformed the hotel’s courtyard into a retro rollerskating rink.

They arrived holding hands and when they weren’t together, Cher and Faena served guests her “Cherlato” ice cream, the frozen desert she created with Gianpaolo “Giapo” Grazioli.

“She was in great spirits, hanging out with friends and her boyfriend. The entire night felt electric and free,” the insider said.

Gayle King, Amy Sacco, artist Ashley Longshore,Grace Faena and drag legend Lady Bunny were a few of the VIPs who came out to celebrate.

Bunny — who appeared on a billboard along with LGBTQ pioneers Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera and Willie Ninja — observed that Cher “seemed to really enjoy snuggling [with] her man,” according an Instagram recap she posted of the event.

Cher and Edwards hit Indochine, where they dined with Domenico Dolce, jeweler Loree Rodkin and stylist Patti Wilson.

Monday Blue, Kervyn Mark, the Muses, Justin Strauss, Stormin Norman and Bunny all performed at the Faena throughout the weekend.
