Cher thinks Kristen Bell deserves better than Dax Shepard

Cher believes Kristen Bell deserves better than her husband, Dax Shepard.

On Monday’s episode of Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast, he confronted the “Believe” singer by asking who she believes would be a “dream partner” for Bell.

“‘Cause I know you think she could be better, and I don’t disagree,” the “CHiPs” actor pointed out.

Although the Grammy winner did not have a person in mind for her “Burlesque” co-star, she replied, “The truth is, I trust her. So you must have something that I don’t see.”

Shepard, 51, then told the pop star, 79, that he is “not threatened” by seeing his wife shine, declaring, “Love it. The shinier she gets, the better.”

He also noted that he “understand[s] nobody’s good enough for [Bell].”

Bell, who was sitting beside Cher during the podcast, chimed in to say that Shepard was “almost too good” for her, calling him a “slow burn.”

“You seem like a good dad,” the “Witches of Eastwick” star told the comedian — who shares Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 11, with Bell — in response.

After the “Veronica Mars” alum agreed her husband was “the best dad there ever was,” Shepard joked that he “put on a good show when the guests are here.

“That was the first hug I’d given my daughter in two years. Just because you were here. I wanted to impress you,” he joked.

Bell and Cher met while filming “Burlesque,” which was released in 2010.

At that time, the “Nobody Wants This” actress and Shepard were engaged before tying the knot three years later.

However, in October, their relationship came under fire when Bell made an “unbelievably tone-deaf” anniversary post on her social media.

“Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me: ‘I would never kill you. A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point. Even though I’m heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would.’ ❤️,” she captioned a photo of them hugging in bed as some of her fans pointed out she “posted this during domestic violence awareness month.”
