Cher’s son, Elijah Blue Allman, was reportedly arrested for assault and trespassing at a prep school in Concord, N.H., according toTMZ.

Allman, whom the pop star welcomed with her late ex Greg Allman, was taken into custody on Friday and booked on two counts of simple assault and one count each of criminal trespass, criminal threatening and disorderly conduct.

The Concord Police Department responded to a report of an unwanted male guest “causing a disturbance and acting belligerently” at St. Paul’s School around 7 p.m. on Friday evening, the outlet stated.

Police later identified the man to be Allman.

The singer’s son, 49, was then taken to Merrimack County Jail where he was processed and released on personal recognizance.

He’s expected to appear in court for his arraignment at a later date.

At this time, it remains unclear as to why Allman was visiting the school in the first place. Insiders told TMZ they had no idea what business he could have had in the area.

Allman, who has publicly struggled with addiction in the past, is primarily based in southern California.

Neither Concord Police Department nor Cher immediately responded to Page Six’s request for comment.

The “Burlesque” actress has made attempts to help her son through his struggles with addiction in the past.

In September 2023, sources exclusively told Page Six the singer “kidnapped” her son with the help of four men to get him into rehab after a drug relapse.

Months later, she filed court documents to place Allman under a conservatorship due to concerns that he could not properly take care of himself or “manage his own financial resources” amid his addiction.

After a nine-month legal battle, Cher ultimately withdrew her petition to become the sole conservator of her son’s estate.

By the next year, Allman had been pictured exhibiting troublesome behavior. In May 2025, cameras captured him looking disheveled and in shambles as he stumbled outside of LA hot spot Chateau Marmont.

The following month, he was hospitalized after suffering a drug overdose.
