Cheryl Hines ‘embarrassed’ by RFK Jr.’s cheating scandal, has ‘barely spoken’ to him since news broke: report

Cheryl Hines is reportedly “embarrassed” by her husband Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s alleged affair with political reporter Olivia Nuzzi.

“She’s embarrassed because he got caught,” a source told People Friday.

The insider also claimed that Hines, 59, and Kennedy, 70, “have barely spoken” since rumors swirled in late September that he and Nuzzi, 31, “engaged in a personal relationship” after she wrote about him for New York Magazine.

Page Six has reached out to Hines’ rep for comment.

People’s report comes after sources told Page Six earlier this week that the actress will likely divorce Kennedy.

However, our source said her likely decision to leave Kennedy has more to do with his support for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

“The guy is a serial philanderer and she knew that coming in,” they reasoned.

On Wednesday, Mediaite reported that three women came forward claiming to have had romantic relations with the politician within the last year.

His rep told Page Six the allegations were false.

As for Nuzzi, she was temporarily removed from her position as New York Magazine’s Washington correspondent on Sept. 19 after she confirmed she “engaged in a personal relationship with a former subject relevant to the 2024 campaign while she was reporting on the campaign.”

Though Kennedy’s name was not brought up by the publication nor Nuzzi when she publicly apologized for her behavior, a source told The Post that the pair were “sexting around the new year.”

Furthermore, an insider told Page Six he “love bombed” her and made her fall deeply in love with him.

His team denied they were romantically involved and said they only met once when Nuzzi interviewed him for a profile published last fall.

Nuzzi was previously engaged to Politico reporter Ryan Lizza, but he confirmed they split the same week she was placed on leave by New York Magazine.

Despite the chatter that his marriage is heading south over the recent allegations, Kennedy was spotted with his wedding band on while having a seemingly tense phone conversation in Los Angeles earlier this week.

The “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actress, however, was photographed smiling in Milan, Italy without her wedding ring last month.
