Corey Feldman Reacts to Rumors He and Jenna Johnson Had ‘Difficult’ Season Together

Corey Feldman hosed down speculation that he and his Dancing With the Stars partner, Jenna Johnson, had a tricky time working together on the show.

Feldman, 54, praised the dancer as he commented on an Instagram post shared by Johnson, 31, on Wednesday, September 24.

“Thank U Jenna! U were an absolute joy to work with,” he wrote.

Feldman described the rumors that they had a difficult time as a “false narrative,” and added, “I’m so sorry for any negativity.”

He continued, “And U know as well as i do that i was there 7 days a week for the past 3 weeks, doing everything in my power to give U my best, even if the judges couldn’t see it. God Bless your family. Keep dancing the dream. ❤️🙌”

For her part, Johnson’s Instagram caption was equally as gushing over her DWTS partner.

“Corey 💘 Our time together was cut short but I am SO grateful for the incredible weeks we did get to share!!” she wrote alongside photos of the pair. “Thank you for the giggles everyday in rehearsal, thank you for the hard work, and thank you for sharing your life lessons and memories with me! I’ll cherish our friendship forever. Never stop dancing 🕺🏻”

She concluded the post by urging her followers to support Feldman’s work, writing, *Everyone go check his new EP he just released!!!!”

The pair’s Instagram comments come after Dancing With the Stars alum Maksim Chmerkovskiy claimed earlier this week that they struggled during their time on the show.

Chmerkovskiy, 45, claimed in an article published by the Daily Mail on Tuesday, September 23, that Johnson had faced difficulties prior to their elimination.

“Obviously, Jenna has a bit of an uphill climb with Corey, which is easy for everybody to say from [the outside], but I know that she’s having a much more difficult time with this entire thing and to the point that it is really difficult for her,” the former pro told the outlet.

Chmerkovskiy also claimed Feldman’s inexperience as a DWTS competitor also contributed to the difficulties.

“Don’t forget, this production is not just about you and your partner dancing, it’s about this massive behemoth of everything that’s happening,” Chmerkovski continued. “The amount of people that you have to deal with, the amount of interviews, and this is all between your rehearsal time and your therapy, and you are trying to lick your wounds and all that stuff.”
