Country star Zac Brown says he’s ‘going into debt’ over his Las Vegas residency

Zac Brown said he’s “going into debt” producing his upcoming residency at Sphere in Las Vegas.
“It’s a big moment in time and it’s like, for us, I want to be among the names of the Grateful Dead and the Rolling Stones and the bands that take that lifelong career impact fan journey to be able to do that,” the country music star told Us Weekly while promoting his shows on Friday.
“This is our statement to try to step into that.”
The Zac Brown Band will kick off their four-show run on December 5, which coincides with the release of their upcoming album, “Love & Fear.”
As he preps for the Vegas residency, the “Chicken Fried” hitmaker shared that he’s ready to face “whatever adversity” comes his way and promises that fans will feel “every emotion that you can contain” during the live performances.
“There’s lots of forces that are always trying to distract you from what you’re doing, and you just got to just keep plowing, keep going,” he said.
He also added that he hopes fans “feel this sense of awe” and “wonder” at the creation he and his band have cooked up.
“I hope they feel wonder,” Brown, 46, continued. “Unpredictability is something we use in our live shows a lot. I love pulling out covers that no one would ever expect us to play, that’s super fun. This is the same thing visually, sonically — everything we’re doing.”
“We have all the audio finished. We’re putting the video pieces together, stitching it together. I’m finishing the story.”
“I’m telling a lot of personal things about my life that I’ve never shared before. Everything that’s hard that we go through as human beings always ends up making us better in some way.”
The news comes soon after Brown announced his engagement to jewelry designer Kendra Scott earlier this week.
“We are so happy and grateful that we found each other,” the pair told People Thursday.
Brown and Scott debuted their romance to the world in April as they attended the American Music Awards together.
