Cruz Beckham takes savage swipe at ‘lonely’ brother Brooklyn for ‘breaking mama’s heart’ amid family feud
Cruz Beckham appears to be taking thinly veiled jabs at his eldest brother, Brooklyn Beckham, with his new song titled “Loneliest Boy.”
The singer, 21, is currently touring the UK and has been performing the unreleased song. Fans are convinced the somber lyrics are about Brooklyn, given the Beckham family’s very public family feud.
Cruz sings about a lonely boy “breaking” his mom’s heart.
The lyrics include, “Loneliest boy, mama don’t talk too much / It’s breaking hеr heart / It shows in the small things that you don’t do.”
“I guess in thе end that it’s you, yourself, and you / Tell me how do you live, when you’ve got nobody to lose?”
Cruz and Brooklyn’s mom, Victoria Beckham, is reportedly “completely heartbroken” over Brooklyn’s estrangement from the family, sources told the Mirror UK in January.
More pointed “Loneliest Boy” lyrics include, “Loneliest boy, place all your bets on him / To find something bad in somebody good, he always does.”
“Loneliest boy, I hope that you’re listening / Don’t push all your friends away, when we’re tryna show you love.”
This isn’t the first time Cruz has appeared to take shots at Brooklyn, 27.
Last week, he shared a cooking video on TikTok of himself whipping up a soup with bacon and potatoes, which fans took as a knock on Brooklyn, who makes food content and launched his own brand of hot sauce called Cloud23.
“Wanna see the best cooking video ever ?👌 don’t watch this then,” Cruz captioned the video.
Brooklyn has been locked in a bitter family feud with his family since at least 2022, when he and his wife, Nicola Peltz, got married.
The feud escalated in January, when he released a shocking statement on social media, saying he didn’t want to reconcile with his famous parents — Victoria and David Beckham — and accused them of trying to ruin his relationship with Peltz.
“I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family,” he wrote.
“Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade,” he continued.
Though the Beckham family has since extended olive branches to Brooklyn through social media, it appears the former photographer isn’t budging on his stance.
He brutally snubbed Victoria during UK Mother’s Day on Sunday, ignoring her completely while praising Peltz’s mom, Claudia Peltz, as “the best mother in law.”
“Happy birthday to the best mother in law,” he Instagrammed alongside a photo of Nicola and Claudia, though Claudia’s birthday was actually three days earlier on March 12. “Love u so much and hope u had the most amazing day.”
