Dak Prescott’s ex-fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, speaks out prenup dispute claims after breakup
Dak Prescott’s ex-fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, shut down rumors that she called off their wedding over an argument about a prenuptial agreement.
“This had nothing to do with a prenup,” she wrote in the comments section of a video of “Speakeasy” hosts, LeSean McCoy and Emmanuel Acho, discussing the prenup rumors Monday.
“I hope we can put that rumor to rest now.”
Page Six has reached out to Ramos for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Over the weekend, fans began theorizing that the wine specialist and Prescott’s split was due to them not coming to an agreement on finances before their Lake Como, Italy, wedding was slated to take place next month.
“Dak spent the last few months pushing hard for a rock-solid prenup to protect his new bag, and she flat-out refused to sign it,” claimed one social media user, referring to the Dallas Cowboys star’s four-year, $160 million deal he signed in 2021.
“She refused to sign the prenup because she thought she was entitled to half of his $240 million contract,” another person wrote on X.
Last Saturday, news surfaced that Prescott and Ramos, both 32, split one month before their lavish nuptials were set to take place in Italy.
Ramos reportedly pulled the plug after an argument occurred during their joint bachelor and bachelorette parties in the Bahamas.
In a leaked email sent to their prospective wedding guests, the exes explained that they “made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding.”
“We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we welcome your prayers,” they wrote.
Ramos’ rep told People Monday that she and the star quarterback are “both heartbroken that they’re not getting married.”
She also claimed their breakup was “mutual” and denied reports that a “big argument or blow up” caused the split.
Ramos and Prescott went public with their romance in 2023.
The athlete proposed in October 2024, and they share two daughters: Margaret Jane “MJ” Rose, 2, and Aurora Rayne, 10 months.
