David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown put on united front at ‘Stranger Things’ premiere after her bullying claims
David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown reunited at the Stranger Things” Season 5 premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday, after news of their reported tension made headlines earlier this week.
Brown, 21, wore a transparent lace column dress with a feathered off-the-shoulder design as she surprisingly posed arm in arm with her co-star.
She accessorized with jeweled chandelier earrings and a massive ring, and styled her reddish-brown hair in an elaborate updo.
Harbour, 50, rocked a pinstriped black suit with a matching tie, and smiled while posing for photographers at the highly-anticipated event.
At one point, Harbour gave a sly glance to photographers as Brown laughed heartily.
Brown portrays main character Eleven in the popular Netflix series, while Harbour plays her father figure, police chief Jim Hopper Jr.
Harbour and Brown haven’t commented on the recent Daily Mail report that claimed she filed a bullying and harassment complaint against him ahead of filming the final season of “Stranger Things.”
“Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season,” a source told the outlet earlier this week. “There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.”
Harbour reportedly faced an internal investigation over Brown’s claims, though the outcome of the inquiry is unknown. Brown also allegedly filmed the series finale accompanied by a personal representative on set.
The “Hellboy” star was allegedly not accused of any sexual impropriety in the complaint.
Brown hinted at tension with Harbour in a resurfaced interview with MTV last year, in which she discussed her then upcoming wedding to Jake Bongiovi.
After the interviewer joked that the nuptials should be “Stranger Things”-themed, with Harbour officiating, Brown squinted her eyes before giving a reluctant, “Yes.”
She then awkwardly backtracked, saying, “I don’t know how I feel [about that]. Sure.”
She went on to pitch their fellow “Stranger Things” co-star Matthew Modine for the role — and the 66-year-old actor did, indeed, officiate her and Bongiovi’s May 2024 ceremony.
Habour has also been in the news lately for his split from his now estranged wife, Lily Allen. On her new album, “West End Girl,” she implied the actor is a “sex addict” who broke the rules of their open marriage.
The actor reflected on his life after turning 50, including “mistakes” he’s made, in an interview with Esquire UK that published earlier this month.
He said he would “change either everything or nothing” if given the choice.
“You either accept your path completely and realize that even the pain and the slip-ups and the mistakes are all part of the journey, and that there’s truth and growth, wisdom and deeper empathy and connection in all that,” he told the outlet.
