Deion Sanders is “smiling” his way into the football offseason, and girlfriend Karrueche Tran has something to do with it!
The football couch gave insight into his relationship on the season premiere episode of his We Got Time Today streaming talk show on Thursday, Jan. 22.
“Good woman, good person, has added so much to my life and my days and my moments,” Sanders, 58, told his co-host Rocsi Diaz. “And I’m smiling.”
Tran, an actress and influencer, was seen last month in holiday vlogs shared by Sanders’ sons Deion Jr. and Shilo as she celebrated Christmas with the former Dallas Cowboys cornerback and his family. The couple also showed up to support Deion’s son Shedeur as he became the starting quarterback of the Cleveland Browns late in the season.
After a disappointing 3-9 season, Colorado and its coach are seemingly optimistic for next year. The team has gained 42 new players from the portal and has a transfer class that ranks No. 22 nationally, according to 247 Sports.
“This offseason has been treating me really well,” Sanders said on his show. “We’re tearing it up in the [transfer] portal. We’re building something extraordinary, extra ordinary, extraordinary. And I’m feeling so darn good. Rocs, I hadn’t felt this good in quite some time.”
He continued, “Like, really, like, like my hands, and I don’t even have a manicure like I usually do, because I got to go get it tomorrow, by the way. But I’m good. I got my hands in and on everything.”
Sanders has been linked to Tran, 37, since last summer when she was seen at his hospital bedside as he recovered from surgery for bladder cancer.
In October, Tran again supported her boyfriend as he underwent a 16th surgery, where she was seen getting emotional.

“Baby, you walk me around the corner like you did last time,” Sanders asked his girlfriend as Tran stood up to accompany him.
