NEED TO KNOW

  • Maggie Thurmon seemingly alleged that ex-boyfriend Benson Boone cheated during their relationship in a since-deleted TikTok and comment
  • The pair was romantically linked for a year and a half before their split in September
  • Thurmon previously opened up that she was “overthinking” amid “things currently making me sad,” which many of her followers interpreted to be a reference to the end of their relationship

Maggie Thurmon is seemingly calling out ex-boyfriend Benson Boone.

In a since-deleted TikTok, the 23-year-old influencer lip-synced to an audio from The Office where character Pam Beesly asks Kelly Kapoor, “Remember how it felt when he cheated on you?” to which she responds, “Which time?”

According to screenshots shared online, a user commented on the video, “bro if benson cheated i will turn this car right around,” to which Thurmon responded, “Put your blinker on babe.”

After removing the post from her TikTok account, where she has over 5 million followers, the internet personality left a comment on her most recent TikTok post, writing, “I got overwhelmed. I’ve always been a more private online person, tonight I remembered why. Thank you to everyone who was sending love, I appreciate yall so much.❤”

Representatives for Boone did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s multiple requests for comment. Thurmon’s rep has also not responded.

The series of posts by Thurmon comes just over a month after Boone sparked rumors that the pair had split during an emotional speech at a tour stop in Nashville. “Sometimes people leave your life,” he said, adding, “Whether it’s the right thing or the wrong thing — and it is always hard, always, every single time.”

Several outlets reported that they had gone their separate ways in the days after.

Since their reported split, Thurmon has been candid about her emotions in the wake of the relationship.

In a Sept. 29 post to her book club Instagram account, Thurmon admitted that she had “kind of disappeared” after opening the account — the first post is dated Aug. 30, less than two weeks before Boone’s concert comments — teasing that “something happened” causing her to go offline.

“I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this: I’ve been struggling to pick up a book because I feel like now whenever I pick up a book I can’t stop thinking,” she continued in the post. “Like, the things that are currently making me sad, the things I’m overthinking, the things I, like, can’t get out of my brain — I haven’t been able to push them aside long enough to get into a story.”

Thurmon and Boone were first spotted together in March 2024 at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party and debuted their relationship on Instagram several months later. The pair later attended the premiere of Twisters in July 2024 as an item and subsequently walked the VMAs red carpet together the following September.

Thurmon was also in attendance when Boone delivered his viral performance at the 2025 Grammys, complete with a striptease assist from Heidi Klum and Nikki Glaser, a skin-tight baby blue jumpsuit and several of his signature flips.

She further supported the “Beautiful Things” singer at Studio 8H when he was tapped to be the musical guest in a May episode of Saturday Night Live, making an appearance in a carousel of photos he shared to Instagram after the performance.
