Dolly Parton will always be grateful on Thanksgiving Day.

To celebrate the holiday, the country music legend, 79, recorded a new video with a heartfelt message to her fans and social media followers.

“Well, hey, it’s Dolly here, and I want to wish all of you and your family blessings this Thanksgiving!” she said via Instagram on Thursday, November 27. “I am so thankful for all of you and for the memories that we’ve shared through the years.”

In the video, Parton looked all dolled up in purple eyeshadow and pink nail polish before sharing one last message to her loyal fan base.

In September, Parton made headlines when she announced that she would be postponing her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from December to September 2026.

“As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures,” she shared via Instagram at the time. “As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up, although it’s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon!”

Parton went on to assure her fans that she will be “able to work on all of my projects from here in Nashville.”

This holiday season alone, Parton is working on collaborations with Kendra Scott and Duncan Hines, while also expanding Dolly Beauty.

“I just need a little time to get show ready, as they say,” she explained in her written statement. “And don’t worry about me quittin’ the business because God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet. But, I believe he is telling me to slow down right now so I can be ready for more big adventures with you all.”

In October, however, Dolly’s sister, Freida Parton, raised concerns when she said she was “up all night praying” for the singer.

Dolly’s manager, Olly Rowland, later told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the singer had kidney stones and things got “quite a bit blown out of proportion, weirdly.”
