Dorit Kemsley responds to fan who asks why she split from PK: ‘S–t happens’

Dorit Kemsley gave a sassy response to a fan who asked why she and Paul “PK” Kemsley decided to separate after nine years of marriage.

In the comments section of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star’s Instagram post announcing the news, one person wrote, “wait i thought y’all were stronger than ever? 🤔”

“We were. S–t happens. It’s called life- try it sometime. One day at a time,” she replied to the user.

The social media user was likely referring to Dorit, 47, saying on the most recent “RHOBH” reunion that she and PK were “doing better than ever” after PK, 56, quit drinking.

“That was a very pivotal moment, so things are — knock on wood — as good as they can possibly be,” she said during the reunion episode, which filmed in January.

However, earlier in the season, Dorit pondered their future and admitted that she has “moments where I worry, ‘Will we be able to stay together?’”

“No matter how hard I try, it feels like he’s never gonna take me seriously and be as present as I need him to be when I need him, and maybe he’ll never change, but do I have to accept that he won’t? Can I? I don’t know,” she said on another episode.

Dorit and PK announced their split in a joint social media statement on Thursday.

“We as a couple have been subject to a lot go speculation about our marriage. We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together,” they wrote in part.

The former couple added that they “made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship” to protect their “deep friendship” and “maintain a harmonious environment for our children.”

Dorit was later seen still wearing her wedding ring and allegedly getting dinner with PK on the same day they announced the news.

The reality TV stars tied the knot in 2015 and share two kids: son Jagger, 10, and daughter Phoenix, 8.
