Elisabeth Moss thinks “it’s so funny” that a “Handmaid’s Tale” crew member requested to keep her character’s underwear ahead of the series finale.

During a recent appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” the actress revealed that one of her former coworkers anonymously asked if they could keep the custom undergarments made for her character, Offred.

“We had an email sent to all of the [executive producers] that was like a full list of all the props and costumes that we could take,” she recalled. “In a very mature way, I wrote back ‘dibs,’ and then proceeded to say everything I wanted.”

Among her long list of requests was Offred’s underwear set “that was specially designed” for her body. However, she was informed “that someone already asked for it.”

Host Jimmy Kimmel was dumbfounded by the shocking request, interjecting, “Wait a minute… This is your custom underwear that you wore and some creep on the staff requested it in writing?”

The late-night comedian, 57, questioned what the staffer was planning on doing with the undergarments.

“Like, ‘I want Elisabeth’s underpants. I’m going to take them home. I’m going to put them in storage for a while.’”

“Hopefully!” Moss replied playfully, noting that putting them in storage would be “the best-case scenario.”

The “Mad Men” actress said she didn’t want to know who asked for the garments because she has “to work with these people.”

“I don’t want to know who wants my underwear,” she added.

Still, Kimmel could not believe someone would make such a “crazy” request regarding a personal item.

“Oh my god, I hope it’s a woman,” Kimmel told her. “Someone made a formal request for your underwear, like, in writing, in an email that they shared with other people. We need to know who that person is.”

Kimmel suggested Moss do a “live pay-per-view” special where she unveils their identity.

“That would be a fun thing to end the season,” he said. “You could tack on a little post-show on Hulu in which you reveal who took the underwear. Kind of like the “Bachelor: Men Tell All” special.”

However, the new mom didn’t have to wait that long to find the culprit.

At the Season 6 premiere of the Hulu drama Monday, Moss told People that the person revealed himself after seeing her interview with Kimmel.

“I think it’s so funny,” she said, noting that she doesn’t want to out the person publicly despite now knowing “who it is.”

After speaking with the underwear thief, Moss learned that it was a bit of a misunderstanding.

“He told me and it wasn’t exactly what we thought it was,” she said. “It’s not bad. It’s not as bad as we thought it was. He didn’t actually specifically ask for my underwear, which is good. So we’re good guys.”

The first three episodes of “The Handmaid’s Tale” Season 6 are available to stream on Hulu now, with new episodes out every Tuesday.
