Elizabeth Hurley, Billy Ray Cyrus romance started ‘weeks ago’: source

Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus’ relationship is very new, a source tells Page Six.
“They’ve been friends for a long time and both found themselves single at the same time,” says the insider, adding that they were surprised the stars were making things public so soon.
“The romantic side started only a few weeks ago,” the source told us.
The pair both posted a picture on Instargram of the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer planting a smooch on the “Austin Powers” star’s cheek on Easter.
Hurley and Cyrus met when they starred in the 2022 holiday film, “Christmas in Paradise,” alongside Kelsey Grammer.
While the flick got a miserable 11% approval rating from fans on Rotten Tomatoes, Hurley seemed to have enjoyed getting to work with Cyrus — and said she was a fan.
In a previous interview with Movieweb, Hurley said she wanted to do the movie because of “Cheers” star Grammer, as well as, “the opportunity to work with Billy Ray, whom I’ve long been a fan of — my son was the age where he used to watch ‘Hannah Montana’ all the time, so of course, I used to watch it with him. I knew Billy Ray really well from that, and of course, some of his music. That was a big plus.”
Hurley, 59, lives in England and Cyrus, 63, lives in Nashville, so it is unclear where the pair will be spending time together.
(Hurley and Cyrus may have been on a luxe vacation together earlier this month: Hurley hinted at the relationship on April 9 when she posted a video of herself frolicking in the Maldives, set to the country singer’s 1992 hit, “She’s Not Cryin’ Anymore” and blowing a kiss to someone off-camera.)
Cyrus has otherwise been hard at work in Tennessee with his son Braison, who is producing his new album, slated to come out this summer. The songs have all been co-written by the father-son duo. He also worked with Braison, as well as daughter Noah Cyrus, 25, and stars including Billy Idol, Il Divo and Richard Marx on a charity single benefiting the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
Hurley and Cyrus’ relationship reveal comes after Cyrus finalized his contentious divorce from Firerose in August 2024.
He was previously married to Tish Cyrus from 1993 to 2022.
Hurley was married to businessman Arun Nayar from 2007 to 2010. She also famously dated Hugh Grant and the late film producer Steve Bing, the father to her son, Damien.
