Eminem’s Ex-Wife Kim Scott Sent to Jail After Multiple Bond Violations Following OWI Charges
Eminem’s ex-wife, Kim Scott, has been sent to jail after multiple bond violations, Us can report.
The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office in Michigan confirmed to Us on Friday, August 14, that Scott, 51, is currently being held in custody. Prosecutors claim that a judge revoked Scott’s bond and agreed to her release if she entered inpatient treatment, according to CBS News.
Scott had pleaded no contest in May to charges of operating while intoxicated (OWI) after she was accused of being impaired when she crashed into a truck earlier this year. Scott was arrested days later for a separate OWI incident.
Scott allegedly failed to appear at her court hearings, which prosecutors told CBS violated her bond terms. A judge subsequently issued bench warrants in June, which were ultimately canceled within a day after Scott was arraigned. Scott is scheduled to return to court on October 14 for a probable cause conference.
Scott and Eminem, 53, were married from 1999 to 2001 and later for three months in 2006. The now-exes share daughter Hailie Jade, 30. (The rapper is also the adoptive father of Alaina, the biological child of Scott’s sister, and Scott’s child Stevie from a previous relationship.)
Following their two divorces, Eminem and Scott tried to maintain a friendly dynamic as coparents.
“They really have a great relationship now as parents,” a source exclusively told Us in 2013. “They are together all the time for the sake of the kids. … Despite everything Em has been through, he’s always been an amazing father, and always had a place in his heart for Kim because of their history and the kids.”
Eminem has since remained quiet about his love life after the duo’s divorce.
“It’s tough. Since my divorce I’ve had a few dates and nothing’s panned out in a way that I wanted to make it public,”Eminem told Vulture in a 2017 profile. “Dating’s just not where I’m at lately.”
At the time, Eminem noted that he would occasionally meet women via dating apps or by “going to strip clubs.”
“What can I say? Going to strip clubs is how I was meeting some chicks,” he quipped. “It was an interesting time for me.”
Scott, who had not publicly detailed her post-divorce life, was reportedly hospitalized in July after an apparent suicide attempt. 911 audio obtained by TMZ revealed that first responders were called to Scott’s house for a reported “suicide attempt,” where the patient was allegedly unconscious.
Us later confirmed that local law enforcement had been called to Scott’s Michigan property 10 times in the past two years, with four instances taking place in 2026.
