Emmerdale’s Hayley Tamaddon has rushed her son to hospital as he “can’t stop being sick”.
The actress, 47, updated her fans on the scary incident with a post on social media. She wrote: “Thank you for all your gorgeous messages but Jasper has been sick so many times now (mostly over me). So nana is driving us to the hospital to get checked.” Hayley jokingly added: “With her driving we all might need to be checked at this rate!”
The TV star shares her son Jasper with ex fiancé Adrian, who she split from in 2022. They got engaged just weeks after Hayley revealed she was pregnant in 2019. Hayley gave a health update on Jasper as she admitted it had been a “long day with lots of tests”. She added that her son was “doing well”.
Hayley is best known for playing Del Dingle in the ITV soap as well as Andrea Beckett in Coronation Street. She also starred in The Good Ship Murder as Melody Jones and won the fifth series of Dancing On Ice in 2010. In 2022, Hayley revealed she was now a single mum in an emotional post on Mother’s Day. She shared a photo with Jasper and said her life had been “turned upside down”.
She said: “Happy Mother’s Day… [red heart emoji] I’ve not posted in a long time, but I thought today was a good time to tell you all, before you hear about it or see it elsewhere.. This Mother’s Day is different for me, as I’m now a single mum. Mine and jasper’s life has been turned upside down over the past few months.. but I realise the best thing to come out of this is Jasper. For he is all I need.. and all I’ve ever wanted. He makes me so happy!”
Hayley added: “I never set out to be a single parent.. but I DID set out to be the best mum I could be, and that hasn’t changed. I’m so lucky I get to be his mummy. And I’m very proud of myself for overcoming the many obstacles I’ve faced since he was born. To any other single mamas out there.. I salute you. Have the most wonderful day!”
Hayley and estate agent Adrian had a friendship spanning five years before things turned romantic, leading to the birth of their son. The actress previously said: “[We grew up on the] same street, we went to the same school. His gran knew my mum, we lived 10 doors apart and 30 years later I needed an estate agent and it happened to be him. We couldn’t believe it at the time, and then were friends for five years, and five years later we found ourselves both single. He was just this nice guy.”
