Eric Dane was spotted in the latest Euphoria trailer more than one month after the beloved actor’s death.

Dane, who died at age 53 following his battle with ALS, was featured in the new Monday, March 30, Euphoria season 3 trailer.

The late actor was seen talking to Hunter Schafer’s character, Jules Vaughn, in the clip. The actress asked him, “Remember me?”
Dane, who played Cal Jacobs in the hit HBO series, replied, “How could I forget?”

(For the uninitiated, in season 1 of the HBO Max series, Cal and Jules hooked up, which turned messy for a variety of reasons — she’s a minor and he’s an adult, for one, and his son, Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi) eventually discovered their sex tape, which was filmed without Jules’ consent.)

Dane’s family confirmed his death on February 19.

“With heavy hearts, we share that Eric Dane passed on Thursday afternoon following a courageous battle with ALS,” a statement shared with Us Weekly read. “He spent his final days surrounded by dear friends, his devoted wife, and his two beautiful daughters, Billie and Georgia, who were the center of his world. Throughout his journey with ALS, Eric became a passionate advocate for awareness and research, determined to make a difference for others facing the same fight.”

His family’s message continued, “He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always. Eric adored his fans and is forever grateful for the outpouring of love and support he’s received. The family has asked for privacy as they navigate this impossible time.”

Shortly after news of the actor’s death broke, various members of the Euphoria cast honored him via social media.

“Forever will love you ❤️,” Sydney Sweeney, who plays Cassie Howard in the drama series, captioned a post shared via her Instagram Story.

Nika King, who plays Leslie Bennett, also posted a touching tribute.

“I remember one of our last table reads for @euphoria-the level of commitment you brought into that room was undeniable,” King, 47, wrote at the time. “All the way locked in. That kind of artistry challenged everybody else to dig a little deeper. You didn’t have to be in a scene with you to feel how seriously you took the responsibility of telling the story right.”

She continued, “There’s something really special about being part of an ensemble where even the ones you don’t directly create with still shape the energy of what you’re building together. That was the ripple effect you had. I wish I’d gotten the chance to share a scene with you. But I’m grateful we shared the same world … the same wild ride. You’re going to be missed. Sending prayers to your family and everyone who loved you.”
