Ethan Slater only has “warm” things to say about girlfriend Ariana Grande, her upcoming Eternal Sunshine Tour and her loyal Arianators fandom.
While chatting with PEOPLE on the Gen V season 2 premiere red carpet in West Hollywood on Wednesday, Sept. 10, the 33-year-old Wicked actor shared a message to Grande’s fans after they faced long online queues to buy her tour tickets — with some leaving the experience empty-handed.
“Ari’s fans are unbelievable and incredible and ferocious in their support of her — and it’s a beautiful thing,” Slater says. “And I really hope that there are other opportunities to see her perform. It’s really intense, and I’ve been sort of following along, but it’s kind of an amazing thing that so many people wanna see her shows, you know? Like what a beautiful thing.”
Grande, 32 — whom Slater has been romantically linked to since July 2023 — announced her 2026 Eternal Sunshine Tour on Aug. 28.
The tour — which marks Grande’s first tour in six years following her Sweetener World Tour in 2019 — sold out almost immediately during presale and general sale, which upset some fans who couldn’t snag tickets.
Just days after winning Video of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 7, Grande added more dates to her tour due to demand.

Aside from catching Slater as Boq and Grande as Glinda in Wicked: For Good, which arrives in theaters on Nov. 21, fans can watch Slater in a recurring role as Thomas Godolkin in Gen V season 2.
“I got to like enter Gen V and like The Boys universe in a way that felt very quintessentially of the world, so I was pretty excited,” Slater says of his role in The Boys spinoff series.
Prime Video’s second season synopsis, in part, reads: “School is back in session. As the rest of America adjusts to Homelander’s iron fist, back at Godolkin University, the mysterious new Dean preaches a curriculum that promises to make students more powerful than ever. … But parties and classes are hard to care about with war brewing between Humans and Supes, both on and off campus.”
Gen V season 2 premieres on Prime Video on Sept. 17.
