Exes Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger shared a sweet moment at the 2026 Golden Globes.

Miley, 33, and Patrick, 32, were spotted greeting each other at the ceremony, held at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, on Sunday, January 11.

The former couple exchanged pleasantries and shared a kiss on the cheek while Miley’s mother, Tish Cyrus, looked on.

Miley and the White Lotus actor dated between 2014 and 2015, before Patrick met now-wife Abby Chamopion. (Miley, for her part, got engaged to singer Maxx Morando in late 2025.)

While their romance didn’t last long, Miley clearly made a good impression on Patrick’s parents, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver.

Arnold, 78, gushed during a June 2025 appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that he and his family all “loved” Miley.

Arnold was quizzed about the best thing about his son dating Miley and responded, “The best was that she’s a wonderful, wonderful girl and human being. Very, very talented. She came up to Sun Valley when we were skiing up there and she was just such a wonderful houseguest and everything like that.”

“She was just a really good, good person and fun to hang out with,” Arnold added.

The Terminator star said, “I’m sorry it didn’t work out. But Patrick, in the meantime, found another girl that he got engaged with and he’s getting married to in September.”

That same month, Patrick’s mom also praised Miley while cohosting an episode of NBC’s Today With Jenna & Friends.

“Did you ever do that with any of your kids’ exes? Keep in touch with them?” host Jenna Bush Hager asked Maria.

“No, no, I’m trying to think, no,” responded Maria, who shares Patrick, daughters Katherine, 36, and Christina, 34, and son Christopher, 28, with ex-husband Arnold.

Jenna then teased, “No Miley Cyrus?”

Maria laughed, saying, “I would be very happy to see Miley. I liked Miley. I’d be happy to see her. But I did not stay texting [her], no I didn’t.”

Both Miley and Patrick have found love since their brief relationship. After dating on and off for years before and after her relationship with Patrick, Miley wed actor Liam Hemsworth in December 2018. The couple split the following year and divorced in 2020.

Since 2021, Miley has been going strong with Maxx, 27, with whom she confirmed her engagement in December 2025.

“The detail that I can share is that for us, our privacy and us kind of keeping it small has been something that I’ve been astounded that I’ve actually been able to have and being able to kind of have more choice,” Miley said of Maxx’s proposal. “I think it’s also being older, being more protective of what I’m open to sharing.”

Patrick, meanwhile, wed model Abby, 28, in September 2025 after a decade of dating.

The married couple detailed their wedding ceremony, held on the shore of Lake Coeur d’Alene in Idaho, in an interview with Vogue.

“Funny enough, it’s more Patrick’s personality to dive into the flowers and little details,” Abby said of Patrick’s involvement in the planning. “He helped with so much, which I absolutely loved.”
