Faith Hill and Tim McGraw’s daughter Maggie gets engaged

Congratulations are in order for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s family.

The couple’s middle daughter, Maggie, 28, got engaged to James Rubin over the summer.

Maggie’s older sister, Gracie, 29, shared the happy news on Instagram earlier this week, revealing that she and her younger sister, Audrey, 24, played a small part in the proposal.

“@jamesrubin170 proposed to our sister @maggiemaymcgraw in the greatest, most Maggie way possible, filled with flowers and family,” Gracie wrote alongside a photo of a beaming Maggie showing off her engagement ring.

“It’s an honor to have been a small part of the process of getting things set up and perfect for our Mags, I will never forget it.”

“Thank you @jamesrubin170 for making my sister the happiest lady in all the land,” she concluded the note.

In 2021, Maggie graduated with a master’s degree in sustainability and science practice from Stanford University.

“We are so incredibly proud of our Maggie May!!!!” McGraw captioned a 2021 post from her graduation. “I have such admiration for her work ethic, her fierce love of her family and especially her passion to make the world a better place….. Go get em my sweet girl!!!! Proud Pop!”

In 2023, she spoke at the UN General Assembly about climate change.

“The health of our planet – especially the ocean – is integral to everyday life for so many people,” she captioned a photo of herself at the UN. “It’s not too late to join the conversation because climate action is ALWAYS timely.”

According to LinkedIn, she currently works as an intelligence analyst for Major League Baseball (MLB).

Maggie has not spoken publicly about Rubin but has shared glimpses into her life on Instagram.

Last year, she posted a photo of herself seated next to her now-fiancé at a dinner table. Rubin has his arm around her. She captioned the post, “🥂.”

In July 2024, she shared a series of photos of the couple, looking spiffy for a date in the Hamptons — and gave a shoutout to Rubin in the caption, writing, “A moment for the dress (and the date).”
