Chelsea Freeman is proudly celebrating her husband, Los Angeles Dodgers first basement Freddie Freeman, and his team’s World Series run.

Chelsea, 34, shared a series of Dodgers-related posts on Saturday, October 25, including a celebratory Instagram Story after the team beat the Toronto Blue Jays 5-1. Chelsea captioned a video with an emphatic “Yayayayyyyyy!!!!”.

The win was a needed one for the team, who lost 11-4 during Game 1 on Friday, October 24.

The celebration comes only days after Chelsea called on others to offer support to Dodgers pitcher Alex Vesia as he takes care of a “personal family matter” during the World Series.

Freddie Freeman had one of his biggest fans cheering him on during the Los Angeles Dodgers’ latest game. “Good to have you back, Max! 💙,” the team’s official Instagram page captioned a sweet snap of Freeman’s wife, Chelsea, and their sons — Charlie, 7, Brandon, and Maximus, 3 — on Sunday, September 8. The Dodgers’ […]

“Please keep the Vesias in your prayers 💙,” Chelsea wrote via her Instagram Story on Thursday, October 23.

The request came after the Dodgers announced Vesia would be unavailable throughout for the remainder of the post-season.

“It’s with a heavy heart that we share that Alex Vesia is away from the team as he and his wife Kayla navigate a deeply personal family matter,” the MLB team wrote via Instagram on Thursday. “The entire Dodgers organization is sending our thoughts to the Vesia family, and we will provide an update at a later date.”

Chelsea and Freddie have been married since 2014 and share three sons: Charlie, Brandon and Maximus. The family moved to California in 2022 after Freddie signed a $162 million contract with the Dodgers after spending 12 seasons with the Atlanta Braves.

The pair have been open about their path toward parenthood. The pair’s son Charlie was born in 2016, and Brandon followed in December 2020. Maximus, who was born via surrogacy, arrived in February 2021 — only months later.

Chelsea and Freddie have been open about their parenting journey and the ups and downs of trying to conceive.

“We tried for a couple of years, and it didn’t happen,” the Freemans told ESPN after Max was born. “We were talking with doctors, and they suggested surrogacy. We jumped at that, because we wanted to be blessed with more kids.”

The pair found out Chelsea was pregnant with Brandon soon after deciding to use a surrogate to carry Max.

In August 2024, the family revealed Max was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called Guillain-Barré syndrome, which often means the body’s immune system is attacking its own nerves. The young boy spent 8 days in the ICU and was unable to sit, stand or walk.

“These have been the hardest and scariest days of our lives,” the couple said in a joint Instagram statement. “Maximus is such a special boy and he has been fighting SO hard. This is going to be a journey to recover, but we have faith that he will be completely healed.”
