Gemma Collins and her fiancé Rami Hawash have shared their hope of having a baby together.

The reality TV star, 43, has previously shared that she has polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which can affect fertility. She’s now spoken about her plans for the future following her engagement to her partner Rami, 48, recently.

The couple discussed expanding their family in an interview with OK! magazine. Gemma said: “We’re going to visit a fertility clinic soon to see if there’s any complications and if I’m able to conceive. I’m nowhere near menopause yet so that will hopefully take the pressure off as I was panicking a bit.”

Rami, who is already a parent to son Tristan, six, told the outlet that “what’s meant to be will be”. He commented in the interview: “We’re going to relax and put it into God’s hands to see what happens. What’s meant to be will be.”

Gemma has opened up in the past about setbacks in her plan to have a baby. She once issued an update to her followers on her conception journey, telling them at the time on social media that she “can’t get pregnant”.

The former the Only Way is Essex cast member wrote in a post last year: “With an under active thyroid and PCOS everyday is a constant struggle but do you know what F IT.” She included various hashtags in the caption, included one that read “can’t get pregnant due to PCOS”.

As reported by the outlet, she once told New! magazine: “I can’t for some reason have children. It’s very frustrating, it’s very upsetting, it’s very challenging. I just don’t and can’t have kids. It’s very stressful, but I need to find somewhere, a good place or clinic in London, that can make it happen for me. Come on, the world is waiting for The GC’s baby. I just need a bit of help to make it happen.”

Gemma and Rami recently got engaged whilst on holiday in the Maldives. The latter arranged for thousands of roses – which is Gemma’s favourite flower – to be flown in from the capital city, Malé, for the special occasion.

The couple have also spoken about their upcoming wedding plans – including hoping to have three ceremonies and teasing the date. Gemma said: “Everyone keeps asking us ‘when is the wedding?’ but we’re not going to do it until 2026 and it’ll likely be a winter wedding. Rami turns 50 that year too, so it’ll be a huge celebration. I spoke to an astrologer and they said that is the luckiest year to get married. I think we’re actually going to have three weddings. The main one will be somewhere fabulous in the UK, the second maybe abroad, and the third will be the formal one for our closest friends and family.”
