‘General Hospital’ Star Adrian Anchondo Confirms Romance With ‘Days of Our Lives’ Actor Colton Little
Soap stars Adrian Anchondo and Colton Little found love in time for the new year.
“This Christmas made my heart pop,” Anchondo, 42, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, December 30, sharing a pic of Little, 36, kissing his cheek. “Thank you Puerto Rico and Florida.”
Anchondo, who plays Marco Rios on General Hospital, shared multiple photos with Little from their recent getaway to Puerto Rico. The pair also kicked off the new year with a sweeping kiss.
Anchondo uploaded another pic of the couple embracing via his Instagram Stories on Thursday, January 1, while fireworks erupted in the distance.
Little, who portrays Andrew Donovan on Days of Our Lives, reposted Anchondo’s New Year’s Eve photo on his own page.
“Magic @ Midnight with the sweetest boy,” Little gushed via his Instagram Stories.
Anchondo and Little have both been outspoken about their sexuality and what it means to play LGBTQIA+ characters on GH and Days.
“I feel very blessed. I feel very grateful for this opportunity,” Anchondo said on a June 2025 episode of the “Grue Rume Show” podcast. “I love the character [and] there’s so many layers. You’ll see coming soon [that] his story gets deeper and, the more I’m on it, the more relationships I make with different characters. That just keeps spreading and making the character more interesting.”
On screen, Anchondo’s Marco is in a romance with Van Hansis’ character Lucas .
“I think that we, in real life, can be a little nervous when someone could be so vulnerable,” Anchondo said. “I think Marco sees Lucas, and Marco’s looking for change to be vulnerable himself and then he sees, ‘Oh, wow, I guess I can be this way, too. I can see this man in front of me who seemingly has everything going for him, but there are some tragic things that have happened in his life.’”
He continued, “I think that [taking a chance is] beautiful. I try to do that with people I meet on the regular. It’s hard to be vulnerable and so open and honest with every single person you come across.”
Anchondo further explained how he formed a friendship with Hansis, 44, after playing love interests.
“He’s so great. I mean, I honestly see him beyond the show,” Anchondo said last year. “Our friendship is growing and growing, and it’s been really nice. He’s almost like a mentor to me now because he is someone [who is] very experienced in soaps. If I’m feeling down about myself or had a rough day, he normalized a lot of what I’m feeling. It’s just so good to have someone on my side.”
As for Little, his Days character is married to Paul Narita (Christopher Sean), marking the first same-sex wedding in the soap’s history.
“I’m very grateful … that this show has given me steady work for three years,” Little wrote via Instagram in June 2025. “I’m also grateful, as a gay man, I had the chance to show LOVE in a way that is authentic to my experience.”
He concluded, “Teenage Colton who … felt isolated and scared needed to see representation like this. I’m PROUD to represent that for someone who may need it today.”
