Glen Powell and the Twisters Cast Chug Beer with Luke Combs During Country Star’s Show: Watch

The Twisters cast took Luke Combs’ latest concert by storm!
On Friday, July 19, Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Anthony Ramos celebrated the release of their summer blockbuster by joining the “Fast Car” crooner onstage at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey to chug a beer together.
Along with influencer Dana Beers — who campaigned to shotgun a beer with Combs, 34, for 68 days on social media — the Twisters trio walked out mid-show, as seen in concert footage captured by X (formerly Twitter) user @BigKidDinner.
After exchanging some greetings and hugs — and a quick count-off from Combs — the group got down to business, chugging their beers as the crowd cheered.
Combs, Powell and Beers each finished their drinks swiftly before tossing the nearly empty cans into the audience, while Ramos held onto his — and Edgar-Jones passed hers off to Powell to finish.
The Anyone But You star, 35, posted a video of the special moment on his Instagram Stories, tagging both Ramos, 32, and Edgar-Jones, 26, and adorning the post with a series of beer and tornado emojis.
Edgar-Jones also shared a clip of the group chug, which she captioned, “So this happened 🤯.”
The crossover was fitting for the group, as Combs lent his talents to Twisters’ country-heavy soundtrack with “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma” — a nod to the film’s setting, Oklahoma’s notorious Tornado Alley.
It was also foreshadowed by Combs and his team watching the film on the jumbotron at MetLife, the country singer revealed on Instagram on July 19. “Wow,” he wrote. “What a night and what a flick.”

Twisters, an indirect sequel to 1996’s Twister, stars Edgar-Jones as Kate Carter, a former storm chaser haunted by a traumatizing encounter with a tornado, and Powell as Tyler Owens, a self-proclaimed “Tornado Wrangler” who chases storms for thrills for an online audience.
Ramos plays Javi, Carter’s longtime friend who coaxes her back into the world of storm-chasing, where she gets to resume her childhood dream of using science to tame tornadoes.
Twisters is in theaters now.
