Does she have a political crystal ball?

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s book is primed to hit shelves July 9 at the same time prominent media outlets — including the New York Times, the New Yorker and the Economist — have called for President Biden to drop out of the race.

We exclusively reported earlier this year that Whitmer — seen as a possible replacement for Biden — inked a seven-figure book deal with Simon & Schuster.

The book, “True Gretch: What I’ve Learned About Life, Leadership, and Everything in Between,” is about to drop, and a source tells Page Six: “Her book deal gamble seems to have paid off.”

The insider added, “Her team, and her publisher, are now likely to do everything possible in the next two weeks to try to make Gretchen Whitmer a household name, starting with her book.”

The insider added: “The book was almost entirely predicated on the possibility that Biden might collapse in the debate and need to be replaced in July.”

But so far Whitmer — a co-chair of the Biden 2024 campaign — is standing by the president.

She posted via X on Monday: “If we want to protect our fundamental freedoms and democracy, then we need to re-elect @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris.”

However there are growing calls in the party to “draft Gretch,” as her constituents fondly call her.

Other reported potential Biden replacements being bandied about besides Whitmer include Vice President Kamala Harris, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly, Georgia Sen. Raphael Warnock and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

The Post reported that an astonishing 72% of registered voters don’t think Biden has the “mental and cognitive health necessary to serve as president,” two new polls showed.

Just 27% of respondents in a CBS News/YouGov poll felt Biden, 81, has the necessary mental strength needed to be commander-in-chief, marking a drop from just over two weeks ago.

A rep for Whitmer did not get back to us immediately.

Blurbs for the book have been penned by Kara Swisher, “Wonder Woman” star Lynda Carter and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, who wrote: “This book is both a roadmap for how to get things done and a source of inspiration for engaged citizens in our democracy.”
