Grey’s Anatomy’s Jesse Williams Welcomes Baby No. 3, 1st With Alejandra Onieva

News broke in May that Onieva was expecting the couple’s first child together. Onieva later confirmed her pregnancy while sharing several photos to Instagram featuring her growing baby bump.

Williams and Onieva initially crossed paths on the set of Prime Video’s Hotel Costiera in 2024. The pair were later spotted spending time together off screen the following year.

The Grey’s Anatomy actor previously welcomed daughter Sadie and son Maceo with ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee. The pair, who wed in 2012, separated five years later.

Williams, for his part, has been candid about navigating parenthood through the years. In 2023, Williams shared that his upbringing has “tremendously influenced” how he has strived to raise his children.

“You try to make sure to expand on the good and try to reduce things that were scary or negatively influenced you and protect your kids without rendering them unprepared for the realities of their life,” Williams told Parade at the time. “So all of that stuff is informative, and I think all parents can relate to hearing their own parents in their voice as they parent. I definitely find myself surprised at how often I sound like my dad or mom.”

The following year, Williams opened up about finding time to be there for his children while filming Hotel Costiera in Italy.

“[I was] waking up at 3 a.m. to call the kids because I’m nine hours ahead of them, so sleep was really tough,” he told People in 2025.
