Hailey Bieber denies reposting fan video about ‘abuse’ in her marriage to ‘addict’ Justin
Hailey Bieber shut down rumors that she reposted a fan video labeling her as a “tolerant codependent” wife who accepts “abuse” in her marriage to Justin Bieber.
“I know you guys who live on the internet are really bored, but I didn’t repost any video speaking on my relationship,” the Rhode founder wrote via her Instagram Stories Saturday.
“Have a beautiful Saturday!” she added.
Just shortly before, Hailey, 29, was accused of reposting a video of a female TikToker saying, “Most long-term relationships that we romanticize and congratulate only work because the woman is a tolerant co-dependent.”
“And when I say tolerant, I mean she tolerates mediocrity, abuse, doing the majority of domestic and emotional labor, in exchange for being in a relationship,” the woman continued.
“And that is a contract that I am opting out of. There is no better example than Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber.”
The woman then slammed Justin as an “addict,” adding, “You can’t be a good partner, or an equal partner when you are in addiction.”
“And in my opinion, an addictive partner is always an abusive partner,” she continued, explaining that Hailey likely “tolerates” the alleged “abuse.”
In the comment section, fans alleged that Hailey reposted the video, with one saying, “There’s no way.”
“Hailey reposting is crazy,” another added.
Several people claimed they came across the video because they saw the businesswoman repost it on her account.
However, others defended Hailey, suggesting she may have shared the clip by mistake.
The model and Justin, 31, have been married since 2018 and are the parents of a 1-year-old son, Jack Blues.
The couple has continuously put on a united front despite being at the forefront of split rumors over the years.
Justin, meanwhile, was recently at the center of drug abuse rumors after sparking concern over his behavior last year.
The “Baby” crooner’s rep, however, shut down the “exhausting and pitiful” allegations, telling TMZ, “People are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”
The spokesperson also insisted that Justin and Hailey were in a good place after welcoming their son.
At the time, a source also defended the Grammy winner’s recent appearances, explaining he had been spending endless hours in the recording studio while simultaneously caring for his son.
