Hailey Bieber says she has ‘no Botox’ in her face — and reveals the treatments she gets instead
For Hailey Bieber, it’s not yet time to try the ‘tox.
The Rhode founder appeared on Owen Thiele’s “In Your Dreams” podcast Friday to discuss her parenting journey with husband Justin Bieber, her status as a “full-blown nepo baby,” the wild internet headlines she sees written about herself — and, of course, all things beauty.
“I don’t have any Botox except for in my jaw for TMJ, but I have no Botox in my face,” the 28-year-old style star, who’s shot down plastic surgery speculation in the past, confirmed to Thiele.
“I made a commitment to myself that I wasn’t going to do any Botox until I was in my 30s. When I get there, I’ll see if I even want to do it.”
Bieber added that she may follow the lead of her mother, 57-year-old graphic designer Kennya Baldwin, who’s never gotten wrinkle-relaxing injections of any kind.
“My mom does nothing to her skin and she looks insane,” she said.
Unsurprisingly for a beauty businesswoman, Bieber is also “really diligent” with her skincare regimen, which includes products from her billion-dollar Rhode brand as well as favorites from Avène, BeautyStat, EltaMD, Naturium, Cosrx and more.
But she’s not entirely averse to needles when it comes to keeping her complexion in tip-top shape, and shared a few “treatments that I really do like” with Thiele during the pair’s chat.
“SoI love PRP [platelet-rich plasma], which is when they take your blood from your arm and they spin it. I love doing PRP with microneedling. I’ve talked about that a lot,” Bieber shared.
In addition to getting her own plasma needled back into her face, she’s also a fan of PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) injections.
“They take your blood — but it’s called EZ Gel — and basically they heat it and then they cool it, and it kind of makes your blood a gel consistency,” Bieber explained.
“And then you inject it. So I’ve done that, which I loved … I’ve injected my smile lines. I’ve injected it under my eyes.”
Because the substance “is from your own body,” Bieber said she can “trust” it — unlike other injectables.
“I do that a couple of times a year,” she added of PRF injections. “I’ve done light little lasers before [too], but that’s it.”
